Wireless microphones are very useful for stage productions, and increasingly houses of worship.
The more microphone receivers that you use the greater the number of antenna you have to contend with.
For mobile systems that often means front mounted antenna are needed. With permanent installations that may not be possible.
A signal distribution system will solve this problem by using just two antenna to feed multiple receivers.
There is another problem with cable lengths, long cable lengths reduce the incoming signal.
We often have to install wireless mics in areas where short cable runs do not allow line of sight with the transmitters.
In the past for single receivers we have simply used signal boosters, but that does not solve the issue with more receivers.
For more than one receiver and long cable runs you need a combined signal amplifier and signal distribution system, you need a distribution amp.

Wireless microphone cables should always use 50 Ohm coaxial cable. A signal booster or distribution amp should always be used with cables longer than 5m to reduce signal losses.
TV antenna distribution systems should never be used for wireless microphones.
